From Bruce Cervon & Dai Vernon's Auction, lot 275. From the David Meyer collection.
Autobiography of Johan Willmann, the son of the famous German magic dealer Carl Willmann, from his notes translated in English. It talks about many magicians of the period (end 1800s, early 1900s) and the tribulation of this magic dealer.
Very interesting, with a number of recollections about magicians of the end of XIX and beginning of XX century. It mentions Watry and Molini, then deals with Bellachini, Okito, Fasola, Houdini and other, mostly German, magicians.
