Marco's Comments:
This is the print of the eBook by Wasshuber on Hooker's Rising Cards, with his theory on how the trick may work and a comprehensive collection of references about Hooker and the trick from many magic magazines. I did buy the eBook when it first come out and enjoyed it, then Wasshuber offered the book for a really good price and I bought it, as I prefer to have a real book in my hands rather than eBooks. Wasshuber's theory is very good and his method is practical, but it may not be the real method: from the description, most of Hooker's routine may be performed with a number of threads, which would make sense due to the configuration of the room. But then, again, the room's design may just be "smoke in the eyes" to confuse the audience.
