Marco's Comments:
Love story of a woman with a group of illusionists at the end of the 19 century London. Magic is always in the background, in a story that involves a magical theatre (like the Egyptian Hall), mirror illusions (Stodare's Sphinx) and the bullet catch, with the explanation out of the masked magician series and shades of Chung Ling Soo's suicide. The book is well written, but it did not really excite me, even if it got praises in the reviews.
