Marco's Comments:
Excellent book on illusions, with some great ideas! It contains a number of essays already published elsewhere (and which I mostly have), but the illusions are well thought out and well described. They are not "ready to be built" and they will probably require the services of an experienced builder, but the concepts therein are very clever and well thought out. If only every book on illusions was like this! There are also a number of stage tricks, among which my favourite one is a routine with a lightbulb using the Pepper's Ghost principle: it has given me a number of ideas. More practical for me is the slate routine and its story: eerie!
