A late and common edition of this book on popular science by Giambattista della Porta, from Naples, with recipes and instructions on secret writing and the principle for Pepper's Ghost. The book is in excellent condition, with a bookmark from the 16th century, some foxing, but it is sound. A copy of the same edition (with the two frontispices, one dated 1650, the other 1651) sells at the moment in the range from 800 to 3600 Euro.
