This is the third edition, altough unstated. Very nice original cover, extensively gilt cloth. The spine was rebacked. It has Fawkes (Faux) on the cover. Many illustrations. The Bartholomew Fair closed definitely in 1855, after being active since 1102, on St. Bartholomew day (23/08). The book has been used for reference to "The Buskers" (Ref. No. C-00021)
