From John Fisher's auction, lot 42. Two manuscripts by Eddie Joseph describing two self-working tricks with cards. One of these arrived with a specially-prepared deck and has been personalized for one "Jim Lumley". I particularly like "Hearth Throb" as it is an impossible location of two selected cards (mathematic, but very clever). The paper is yellowed and foxed. The instructions have notes throughout. Very good, to try and work out for modern audiences.
