Marco's Comments:
The lost trick of John Ramsay, especially for magicians: a rope whose ends have two tassells is cut and restored. The method is ingenious and would fool also the lay public, although magicians will be more puzzled. You will need to make your own gimmick (the tasselled rope itself) and the drawback of the trick is that after a certain number of repetitions, you will have to replace the rope, so going to the trouble of re-sewing the tassells. However, if instead of just one gimmick you have two, the reset would be lot quicker.
Very good, to try.
