This book contains Elite's thoughts on magic. Personal thoughts and directed to the Italian magic scene. While I don't agree with parts of it, the analysis is somewhat correct. The book would have benefitted by a better editor. The second part of the book is more interesting, and is Elite's reprint of his previous book "Psicomagia", which analyzes the use of some psychological techniques in magic. The worst thing in the book is the liberal use of quotations from Binarelli, Brachetti and Zelli's words, sometimes out of context.
