Marco's Comments:
From the collection of Ray Goulet, with his booklet and library card. Rebound in recent (1950s?) leather. The author is indicated as R. J. G. in a notation on the spine and frontispice. Some pages have been restored. Signature on front leaf: Charles Austen, Shurdington, 1827. The first part of the book is about the murder of William Weare and the trial of his killers, while the second part is about the contemporary gambling scene in London.
