Marco's Comments:
First edition of Percy Abbott's autobiography, dealing with his magic performances in Australia and the Far East, up to his travel to the USA and work for the Harry Thurston show. It doesn't say much about the magic company he opened in the USA, as the working relatioship with Blackstone was not good. Very interesting books, with many anecdotes about the other great of the time: Carter, Nicola, etc. and the way of life of a travelling magic show. A most interesting read. The book is in fairly good condition except for the last page that had some glue remnants on the back cover, which caused some abrasions in the text.
