Interesting theoretical study on magic, on its meaning and on its shortcomings when it's performed (magic) as conjuring. This is a book that makes one think and reflect on what Magic may be and on the poorness of conjuring. This book was a present (I think so... I've never given it back) from Augusto Corrieri when he come to direct the debut of my "Samarkanda" show. I understand it's a book that greatly influenced him in realising how empty is the shell of magic when presented as an exercise of sleight of hand.
