From John Fisher's auction, lot 42. A "magazine test" where a card, put against a (really) freely selected magazine, whispers the magician the content of the page. The method is ingenious but requires cards to be performed. It's not impractical, but are we sure better methods to perform the same effect don't exist? This are two sheets stapled together. The rusty staples have left marks on the paper.
