Marco's Comments:
The first "bizarre" book written by Tony Andruzzi, for which I paid a small fortune. It is however very rare and difficult to get by. In 1977 Tony Andruzzi, aka Maskelyn Ye Mage, published his first book on Bizarre Magick, The Negromicon. Like Guy Jarrett before him, Andruzzi did everything himself, including writing the material, illustrating it, printing the pages and binding them himself. The Negromicon was limited to approximately 300 copies and is extremely rare. It falls under the category of "locked books," because Andruzzi imbedded a double hasp into the pages, so that the rear section of the book, which contains the secrets, could be locked while the front section served as a prop book of spells in an actual performance. The book contains a tipped-in advertising sheet (it sold for $20!) and the original padlock (a normal, cheap, one).
