The book is absolutely boring to read: it refers to events and people 500 years old. It has, however, many references to gambling and gambling methods which prove certain sleights and methods are older than tought. A page contains a description of a magic performance. However, the main aim of the book is to advise about the dangers of gambling, both mental and monetay. I'm going to prepare a paper on it, for publication in magical magazines.
